Terms and Conditions
Tubing Parties
- 45 minutes on the slope tubing.
- For a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 participants.
- We suggest participants are aged 4 years and above.
- Can be booked with or without food.
- Picnic-style own food with barn booking is allowed.
- Takeaways and any hot food are not allowed.
- No piñatas or party poppers.
- Own decorations are welcome, provided they are not fixed to walls or surfaces.
- A Bluetooth sound system is available in the barn; you are welcome to play non-explicit music.
Tubing Open Sessions
- Half an hour on the slope tubing.
- For a maximum of 10 participants.
- Mixed group – others will join this session.
- We suggest participants are aged 4 years and above.
Ski Group Lessons
- Introduction to Skiing (Level 1) and Level 4 are one-hour lessons.
- Levels 2 and 3 are one-and-a-half-hour lessons.
- Everyone participating MUST be 8 years old or above and at least a child’s shoe size 10.
- Everyone participating will be taught at the same level.
- Groups may be mixed ages.
- You will be joined by others.
- Please note: age restrictions apply, and we reserve the right to disallow participation if someone is obviously not in the correct age bracket.
Ski Private Lessons
- Everyone participating MUST be 8 years old or above and at least a child’s shoe size 10.
- Everyone participating will be taught at the same level.
- Mixed-ability private lessons are not advised.
- Please note: age restrictions apply, and we reserve the right to disallow participation if someone is obviously not in the correct age bracket.
Ski and Snowboard (Clubs) Coaching Sessions
- Each session lasts 1 hour with the coach.
- Everyone going onto the slope MUST be a competent skier or snowboarder.
- Skiers must be able to Snowplough Glide, Snowplough Turn, Snowplough Stop, and use a button lift unaided.
- Snowboarders must be able to do Falling Leaf and use a button lift unaided.
- If you go onto the slope and are deemed unsafe, you will be asked to leave, and no refund will be given.
- Everyone participating will be coached based on the club chosen.
- Please note: age restrictions apply, and we reserve the right to disallow participation if someone is obviously not in the correct age bracket.
Snowboard Private Lessons
- Everyone participating MUST be 10 years old or above and at least a shoe size 3.
- Each lesson lasts for 1 hour.
- The lesson can be booked for up to 3 persons.
- Everyone participating will be taught at the same level.
- Please note: age restrictions apply, and we reserve the right to disallow participation if someone is obviously not in the correct age bracket.
Ski Penguin Lessons
- The child participating MUST be between 5 and 7 years old and at least a child’s shoe size 10.
- Each lesson lasts for half an hour.
- You MUST NOT book more than one lesson on the same day for the same child.
- If you book two lessons on the same day for the same child, we will only teach the child for half an hour, and no refund will be given.
- A parent/guardian MUST accompany the child on foot onto the slope if the instructor deems this necessary. The parent/guardian must wear a hi-vis and ski helmet, which will be provided.
Ski Puffin Experience
- The child participating MUST be between 3 and 4 years old and at least a child’s shoe size 7.
- Each session lasts for half an hour.
- One parent/guardian MUST accompany their child on foot onto the slope. The parent/guardian must wear a hi-vis and ski helmet, which will be provided.
- You will be joined by others.
- This is not a session to learn to ski in.
Ski or Snowboard Practice Sessions
- Each session lasts 1 hour.
- Everyone going onto the slope MUST be a competent skier or snowboarder.

- Snowboarders must be able to do Falling Leaf, stop, and use a button lift unaided.
- If you go onto the slope and are deemed unsafe, you will be asked to leave, and no refund will be given.
All Lessons and Sessions
- Participants must arrive 30 minutes before the session starts to receive equipment.
- If you are late, the session will continue without you, and no refund will be given.
- You must wear a long-sleeved top (a coat if it is raining), waterproof trousers or jogging bottoms (bring a change of clothes as it is likely you will get wet), long socks, and gloves.
- Gloves are available to purchase on site.
- You are taking part in a physically demanding sport with inherent risks and will be asked to sign a disclaimer on arrival.
- Children under the age of 17 must be signed in by an adult and cannot be left at the slope unaccompanied. (Accompanying adults are welcome to spend the session in our Costa café area or outdoor seating area.)
- Cancellations and alterations to bookings are subject to charges as outlined in your booking confirmation (ranging from £5 per person to 50% of the booking total).
- Lessons and sessions run in all weather conditions. In the rare event of extreme conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule. We monitor the Met Office forecast here:
