Inclusive Saturdays with SSCD

Inclusive skiing, community support, and a chance for everyone to be part of something special.

Join SSCD at Knockhatch Ski School on the first Saturday of every month (excluding August) for a day dedicated to inclusivity, achievement, and fun.

We are proud to partner with The Southern Ski Club for the Disabled (SSCD), an inspiring organisation with over 35 years of experience supporting disabled skiers. Using adaptive equipment and tailored instruction, SSCD helps people of all abilities experience the joy of skiing while building confidence, independence, and self-belief.

Everyone Counts at SSCD

SSCD is a vibrant volunteer-led organisation made up of passionate individuals who love sharing the excitement of skiing with those who need a helping hand. Helpers contribute both on and off the slope as skier guides or support volunteers.

Get Involved

We welcome everyone — including non-skiers — to get involved and support our skiers with a variety of disabilities.

Volunteers can receive training to become Guides, helping skiers safely enjoy the slope and develop their skills.

Volunteering with SSCD is also a fantastic way to complete volunteering hours for the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award.

Support the Programme

If you would like to support the programme further, please consider visiting our donate page to help us raise funds and continue making skiing accessible to all.
