Inclusive Saturdays with SSCD
Join SSCD at Knockhatch Ski School on the first Saturday of every month (excluding August) for a day dedicated to inclusivity and fun! We are thrilled to partner with SSCD (The Southern Ski Club for the Disabled), an incredible organisation with over 35 years of experience in supporting disabled skiers. SSCD provides adaptive means to help skiers of all abilities experience the joy of skiing, fostering a sense of achievement, independence, and self-confidence.
SSCD is a vibrant, voluntary organisation driven by passionate individuals who love sharing the excitement of skiing with those who need a helping hand. Most of the helpers are volunteers, contributing both on and off the slope as skier helpers or non-skier helpers. At SSCD, everyone counts!
We invite everyone, including non-skiers, to get involved and support our skiers with various disabilities. All helpers can receive training to become Guides. Volunteering with SSCD is also a fantastic way to complete hours for the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award.
Visit our donate page if you would like to help us raise funds or offer a donation. Together, we can make skiing accessible to all and create unforgettable experiences.
Visit the SSCD website for more information and to get involved.
Join us and be part of something truly special!
