Snowboarders must be able to perform falling leaf, stop safely under control, and use the drag lift independently.

If you go onto the slope and are deemed unsafe, you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

Ski Group Lessons (Ages 10+)

All group lessons are 1 hour in duration.

Juniors (10–16) and adults (17+) learn together in the same sessions.

Participants must be booked into the correct level for their ability.

You will be joined by others working at the same level.

Age restrictions apply.

Penguin Lessons (7–9yrs)

Private ski lessons specifically designed for children aged 7–9 years, with up to 3 children per lesson.

Each booking is for a 1-hour lesson slot, which includes approximately 45 minutes of on-slope teaching time.

All children booked together will be taught at the same level, so the lesson will be tailored to the least experienced child in the group.

Age restrictions apply.

Puffin Lessons (3–6yrs)

30-minute 1:1 lesson only.

Designed as a gentle introduction to skiing.

A parent/guardian may be required to assist their child during the session.

Age restrictions apply.

Ski Private Lessons (10yrs+)

Lessons can be booked for up to 5 participants.

Everyone participating will be taught at the level of the least experienced participant.

Mixed-ability private lessons are not advised.

Group Ski Bookings (10+ Participants)

Group ski bookings are based on a minimum of 10 participants.

Sessions must be booked in advance.

All participants in a group session will take part together and sessions are delivered at the level of the least experienced participant.

Groups must provide accurate ability information at the time of booking to ensure the session is suitable for all participants.

Session durations vary depending on the booking and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Snowboard Private Lessons

Each lesson lasts 1 hour.

Lessons can be booked for up to 5 participants.

To get the most out of your session, participants should generally meet the following guidelines:

Minimum shoe size: UK 4
Minimum height: approximately 4ft (120cm)
Recommended minimum weight: approximately 50kg

Everyone participating will be taught at the level of the least experienced participant.

If you are unsure whether snowboarding is suitable, or are just below these guidelines, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to advise.

Group Tubing (10+ Participants)

Group tubing sessions are 1 hour in duration.

Groups may add use of the Tubing Barn to their booking for an additional £30 charge.

Use of the Tubing Barn is for a set period and must be vacated at the end of the allocated time.

Takeaway packaging and rubbish should be removed at the end of the booking.

All Lessons and Sessions

Participants must arrive 30 minutes before the session starts for equipment fitting.

If you are late, the session will continue without you and no refund will be given.

Participants must wear a long-sleeved top (a coat if it is raining), waterproof trousers or jogging bottoms, long socks, and gloves.

Leggings or tights worn on their own are not suitable.

Shorts or ¾ length trousers are not suitable.

The slope is mist-lubricated, so participants are likely to get wet. A change of clothes is recommended.

Gloves are available to purchase on site.

You are taking part in a physically demanding activity with inherent risks and will be asked to sign a disclaimer before taking part.

Children under the age of 17 must be signed in by an adult.

For individual bookings, a parent or guardian must either:

  • Remain on site during the session, or
  • Provide a completed consent form in advance if not staying on site

Cancellations and alterations to bookings are subject to charges as outlined in your booking confirmation.

Lessons and sessions run in most weather conditions.

In the rare event of extreme conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions.

We reserve the right to adapt sessions as required to ensure the safe and smooth running of the centre.
