Junior Level 4 - 8-14 Years Old +

Entry Requirements (learnt here or elsewhere):

• Developing snowplough turns
• Controlling speed through turning
• Stopping safely on command in a snowplough
• Using more of the slope with confidence

Ready to conquer the top of the slope? Join our 1 hour ski lesson designed to push your skills to new heights. Learn to fully control your speed, link snowplough turns and be ready to ski on your own!

After the session, revel in your progress and toast to your achievements at our Costa Café. And here's the thrilling part – for those who conquer the slopes and are officially signed off after this lesson, get ready to proudly take home a prestigious Knockhatch Ski School medal and certificate!

During your session, you’ll work on:

• Developing strong snowplough turns
• Starting to work towards basic parallel skiing
• Using the full slope safely and confidently
• Becoming ready to ski independently

This session can be repeated if you feel you’d benefit from building more confidence. Most skiers complete this session once before moving on to Open Practice.

Please note: We always aim to run sessions as scheduled. If fewer than 5 participants are booked, this session may be joined by our Adult Level 4 group (ages 15+). All activities will remain age-appropriate.

Rules & Considerations For Level 4:

• You must arrive 30 minutes before the lesson start time.
• All bare skin must be covered.
• Gloves must be worn.
• Everyone must wear a helmet whilst on the slope.
• All facial pierced jewellery must be removed before using the slope.
• No instruction other than with our own registered instructors is allowed.
• No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs may take part in any activity at Knockhatch.
• Helmets, boots and skis/snowboards are included in the price.
